Open Arms Food Pantry & Resource Center would like to invite you to celebrate the emancipation of slaves on June 19, 2022 at beautiful Westchester Park from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The day will be filled with festivities such as performing artists, live music, the African Market, Foodie Area of ​​LA’s top food vendors, African American book authors speaking and selling, a panel discussion on children’s health and literacy.

The LA Black History Month Festival and Open Arms Food Pantry & Resource Center are thrilled to announce their 5th annual Art x Culture lineup in partnership with the Department of Cultural Affairs named Juneteenth Art x Culture Festival 2022. This event will feature speakers and notable artists such as Supervisor Holly Mitchell, Congresswomen Maxine Waters, book author Sandra Izsadore, environmentalist Julian Brown, Jacques Fleur of business network ATT, Torrence Brannon Reese, founder of the FA Foundation- MlI, Fredrisha Dixon for Inglewood Mayor’s Campaign, Jasmine Gates of New Black History Makers, The Book’s Author, Dr. Randal Henry of the Born in South LA Book, Famous Blues Guitarist Gregg Wright, The Jazz Band Go With the Flow, Disco Daddy Hip Hop Historian and many more.
