EDM, Pop and Rock took two nights off as folk, country and Issan music took to Bali Hai Pier for Thailand’s Cultural Music Festival.
Deputy Governor of Chonburi, Chaichan Iamcharoen, opened the festival from May 25 to 26 with not only music, but also stalls of regional food and products and even movie stars.
Tasty food and products from each of Thailand’s four major regions were on offer, as well as games and activities, such as temporary tattoos, which proved to be very popular.
Entertainment over the two nights was provided by Anadaman, The Rube, Zack Chumpae, James Jirayu, Pattalung, Mahalai Guachon, Manorah, Kai Liem, Rassamee Isan Soul, GA-PI Dub and Lamyai Hai Thongkham on Friday; and Lanna Camin, Beel Siengisarn, Infinity Band and an Issan musical battle between Sawadee and Puey Perngmang on Saturday.
The finale featured cast members of the hit TV series “Buphae Saniwat,” who sang songs from the film and then lingered for autographs.
