A new study from London & Partners has found that the biggest challenges parents face during school holidays are the cost of entertaining their children (45%) and finding fun experiences for the whole family (34%). Pop-Up London is a free cultural festival with outdoor shows for the whole family in the center of the city ?? great for entertaining your family this semester.
The festival takes place in London during the October semester from 23 ?? October 31, 2021, showcasing some of London’s most imaginative local talent with over 200 artists performing in over 100 events over 10 days. With shows including hip hop dance numbers, musicals, storytelling, puppets, circus techniques, magic shows and many more, this is a must-see destination for families around the world.
Pop-Up London brings together artists, musicians and a range of artists from across the city to perform at Spitalfields E1, Canary Wharf, Trafalgar Square and other locations in central London in partnership with Battersea Arts Center and Found in Music.
Celebrating London’s rich cultural diversity, Pop-up London will feature performances by Brazilian, Cantonese, Afro-Caribbean and Southeast Asian artists on themes exploring climate change and the digital age. Families can make the most of the festival, which will include performances celebrating Diwali as well as other exciting London attractions and world-class food and hotel offerings.
The festival is the latest event announced as part of the Mayors Let ?? s Do London campaign – the biggest domestic tourism campaign our capital has ever seen, which aims to encourage visitors from across the UK and Londoners to return to the heart of the city to enjoy its incredible cultural scene.
Pop-Up London provides independent creators with a platform to perform in front of a live audience, after months of unemployment and income instability due to the devastating impact of the pandemic, which has shut down sites in the creative industries.
